London named dirtiest city

London has been voted the dirtiest European city by the TripAdvisor Company, this is the second time London takes the unwanted accolade by a huge margin of 36%. The UK capital is also the most expensive city, has the worst cuisine and the worst-dressed locals. The 2376 European travellers who had voted are more positive about nightlife, free attractions and tourist traps. 50% of voters were most positive about the public parks. One traveller, writing a review on the TripAdvisor website, said: "I have travelled quite a lot and there are no parks in the world like the ones in London, especially St James's Park."

The cleanest city was Copenhagen, the bargain city was Prague, the friendliest was Dublin, the most boring city was Brussels and Paris had the best cuisine and dressed locals.

Reaction: London named dirtiest city

This result surprises me. I have seen a lot of capital cities in Europe and London is one of my favourites. I do not agree with the worst-dressed locals because London is one of the most fashionable capitals in the world. It is not dirty at al; there are a lot of activities on the main roads, buildings and some pavements, but that does not mean the city is dirty. I do agree with the beauty of the public parks and the worse cuisine. I always visit a park when I am in London, but I do not eat typical British food.

Chemical cocktail 'risk to boys'

Professor Richard Sharpe, of the Medical Research Council, warns about hormone-disrupting chemicals may disrupt male development in the womb. Chemicals, found in many food, cosmetic and cleaning products, are a real threat to male fertility, says this leading scientist. Professor Richard Sharpe links these hormone-disrupting chemicals to raising rates of birth defects, testicular cancer and falling sperm counts. Campaigners called for action to warn pregnant woman and to inform about this problem. Exposure to a single chemical may not be a threat but the accumulation will effect the male development in the womb. There is evidence that male reproductive health is worsen, with misshapenness of the penis becoming more common.

Reaction: Chemical cocktail 'risk to boys'

Is there anything left to eat what is really healthy? Even vegetable and fruit are treated with chemicals and are not 100% healthy. There is always something which can damage your body. It is good to do research, but solving all the diseases we know is not possible. I hope Professor Richard Sharpe can minimize the risk of males’ infertility with his research. We already knew chemicals were not healthy, but this has big consequences on a male’s life.

Man guilty of fan's road murder

Lee Mockble, 21, killed Christopher Priest, 26. Lee drove his Volkswagen Golf into Christopher, a football fan, in Aston Hall Road after a Premier League match in Birmingham. Christopher was Aston Villa fan and died after his team’s 5-1 home derby win over Birmingham City in 2008. Lee denied the charge, but the jury found him guilty. Judge John Warner told Lee, who is jailed for life, he would serve a minimum jail term of 12 years. This incident started with Daniel Brown, Christopher’s friend, who threw a pint glass at Lee’s car after asking if it contained Birmingham City fans. The pint glass injured one of the passengers in Lee’s car and damaged the car. In the following event, Lee decided to attack Christopher.

Reaction: Man guilty of fan's road murder

Minimum 12 years of your life in jail for a stupid reason. Youngsters do not always realise the consequences of their reactions. This is a very good lesson for Lee, and hopefully others, to think first before concerning. Lee will be released at the age of 33, he will miss the most important and interesting time of his life. Christopher will never be 33, his life was too short. Lee took some ones life and has to pay with his own, but the payment is not fare. Lee will get a second chance but Christopher would not.

Health minister to repay £41,709

Health minister Phil Hope must repay the biggest amount of £41,709 in second home allowances. He said he had kept to the rules but, "the stories about my expenses and the public anger have been a massive blow to me". All parties tried to reduce and repair their damaged reputation. Prime Minister Gordon Brown and Tory leader David Cameron do not agree about MPs' expenses at prime ministers' questions, but they both agree about a change in the system. Mr Cameron has told his MPs to pay back excessive claims or accept resignation. He also said the trust people had in their party would not restore again.

Surprise, surprise! Finally justice for the people in the UK, they discovered the heart of the matter, because this is one of the reasons why we are belonged in the financial crises. I am very glad that this happened because this is literally a pay back. I agree with Mr Cameron, the trust people had will not restore again. I have no idea how this will end. I am very curious about the solution the parties will present. This may be the start of rebuilding everything the government destroyed; this may be a lesson for the future.
