Juror 'committed sex crime during break for lunch'

Alan Edwards, 58 and former soldier, was serving as a juror in the case of a sexual crime on a teenage girl. He went out for a lunch break and committed a sex crime himself by molesting a receptionist. A jury of seven men and five women did not found him guilty, because he was not in control of his action at the time. Psychiatric consultants said Edward was suffering psychotic symptoms at that time. While proven Edward committed his act, Judge Darwall-Smith does not agree at all with the verdict, he told Edwards he must register as a sex offender.

  1. They say he is not guilty, unbelievable!!!! When he had sex with a teenage girl he was not sick. He did enjoy himself and later on he said that he was not aware of what he was doing. I think this is not normal.

  3. Dear Bahareh,

This is a very clear summary and excellent reaction. I would like you to look at a couple of grammar issues, but otherwise, very good work.

did not found him guilty (verb tense)
he was not in control of his action at... (plural)
while proven Edwards committed his act (his > this - probably just a typo)

    Keep up the good work,

    Kate.
