Iran Leader Urges Reporter Rights

The Iranian-American journalist Roxana Saberi is put behind bars for eight years in Iran. Her first less serious accusation was for buying alcohol, the second accusation was for working as a journalist without a valid press card, but after two week Iran found her guilty because of spying. The US is in shock and the president is "deeply disappointed." Roxana’s Lawyer will lodge an appeal.

The mother of Roxana is concerned about the health of her daughter. She said "Roxana was very frail." She can not believe how a country can treat a human being like this.

  1. I really can not believe it why they put Roxana in jail. They do not have any evidence against her, they only think that she works for America. When will Ayatullah realize that it’s against the Islam to put innocent people in jail.
